教师关怀品质的现状调查——基于北京市石景山区四所中学的调查数据

【摘要】Caring is the basic relation in education. It affects significantly the formation of good teach er-student relationship and the improvement of education quality. The study based on a survey found that 1) teachers did not identify the real needs of students. They pay great attention to students school a- chievement, but students expect teachers to respect them and treat them with justice; 2) the act of teach- ers care was not accepted and responded by students. Students evaluations were lower than teachers' self-evaluations in the aspects of respect, understanding and love; 3) the feedback of teachers caring was not good. Students seldom felt cared by teachers and teachers did not become listeners to the students ~ stories. The study further suggests that teachers should improve their ability to distinguish students~ real needs and improve their skills and approaches to care about students. They should create an educational at- mosphere with care and a democratic management environment in order to provide the cultural and institu- tional foundation for the establishment of good teacher-student relationship.
